As Life Slips Through My Fingers is a series of drawings where archetypal symbols refer to our perception of death. I took a two sided approach: on one side is the human figure, on the other is geometrical shapes and planes. By combining the physical with the mental, this series seeks that mystic state of limbo in between. Each piece represents a different relationship between abstract and corporeal elements. Together they are meant to conjure up an awareness of the illogical in our lives and point a crooked finger toward the void.
