Home Sweet . . . Oh!
“World Tour” this week, but the moment I stepped off the plane at Heathrow this morning, I suddenly shape-shifted into a grumpy old man.
You know the ones?, off of that BBC 2 program.
The funny thing is that as I sit and write this on the train back from Paddington, not only am I sat in 1st class (a train first for me) but I am indeed sporting the stripy woolly jumper as well! Is there no hope???
I tell you what someone throw a rain shower and a farmers hat into the equation and I''ll be propa fucked!!
I haven't even started ranting yet!
So after spending 19 hours on the new A380 Airbus sat next to a very grumpy Chines man and some stupid bitch of a Hypochondriac, I'm serious at one point in the flight she asked the beautiful air stewardess if the captain would mind landing somewhere so she could get off and and have a walk around because she still felt sick!
“Yeah okay we'll just drop down in the middle of the Afghan desert so you can stretch your chubby little legs whilst the rest of the passengers try their hardest not to get caught up in the cross fire of a fucking missile attack!”
. . . she was from Birmingham so what does one expect??
. . . I finally make it home to the UK.
After practising my best 'time-wasting' skills in Brisbane International and the new Third Terminal at Singapore airport, I knew that Heathrow's terminal 3 was going to be a disappointment not only on the eye but, well everything, right down to the smell of the mouldy carpets in that robotic walkway thing they attach to the plane so you can get off the plane without using the emergency inflatable slide.
They look awesome don't they???? What I'd give to have a go on one of them . . . Well a plane crash I suppose but we're getting side tracked here . . .
Heathrow was scanky, old and not far off starting a world flu epidemic! The passport control guy could barely manage a hello never mind,
“Welcome home Mr Hunkin.”
At least in Australia every security guard I crossed made a point of asking where I was travelling from, shortly followed by his or hers story of how they Used to live in the UK and knew Cornwall like the back of a beer mat! The guy who checked my passport on the way home at Brisbane even knew the Carlyon Bay Hotel, weird or what?
So as I practically ran to escape the black death at Heathrow, I followed the spaghetti junction of corridors to the all new Express train to Paddington, claiming it takes only ten minutes to get there. I'd book 1st Class in advance all the way to St Austell. So proudly I marched on to the empty 1st class section, with its flat screen TV's and air conditioned reclining sofa seats only to be confronted by some short streak of piss that this wasn't the Economy section and he proceeded to hustle me out the door.
Well you can imagine my delight when I produced my boarding card, wiping the smile off his face.
After a MASSIVE apology the ticket attendant stamped my ticket and scuffled off to another carriage leaving me and my suitcases alone for the rest of the journey.
15 minutes later . . . they lied!!!
At Paddington I was running early as my flight was earlier than expected, so I decided to grab some Breakfast from a, what looked okay from the outside, bar/pub place directly above the platforms.
The so called barman told me off for not knowing the table number I was sat at, even though I was the only person in the whole bloody place AND was sitting opposite the bar, where he'd watched me walk in and sit down, get back up and walk up to him to order as he was far to busy studying my every move to come over.
“Traditional Breakfast” ordered, stressing no bacon, I sat back down to listen to the interesting conversation that a police person was lecturing some poor old homeless women about not sleeping in the station . . . .
Hmmmmmm so my breakfast arrives, complete with bacon and warm orange juice and finally when my train rolls up, some retard is sat in my seat, resulting in him be physically removed by the ticket instructor.
Finally I can rest in the luxury of First Great Western's 1st Class, writing away my 'social issues' on my blog. Nothing else can annoy me, even if that old women's dog, hiding in her handbag, won't stop starring at my kitkat!
. . . Oh wait my train has been delayed because of cows on the line, that's a new one!!
This would never happen in Asia, welcome home Nath . . .

Its almost All Over!
A MASSIVE thanks to Paul, Carolyn, the fossils and Lewie for looking after me this last week. The Hospitality has been actual awesome! If I could stay longer, I would love to but, unfortuinitly adulthood comes with responsibility and commitment . . . Lame!
Mr Brend needs me!!!
So what has Australia taught me??
1. Steve Irwin zoo is now, nothing more than a publicity stunt!
2. Catamarans can go amazingly fast.
3. Australia is HOT, and not just the locals!
4. America and Oz are pretty much the same country
5. Sky is called FoxTel
6. There's a McDonald's ion every corner and they sell FROZEN cola . . . wtf?
7. Lucy can sleep more hours than my mum can (And that's saying something!)
8. Economy class sucks!
9. BBQ's really do happen everyday here.
10. I LOVE the Doughnut King!
There's something to think about, I'm happy to answer any questions when I get home.
If anyone wants to prepare a test when I get home, I'd be more than willing to participate!
See you soon all x x

Episode One!!!
Okay Okay, so I know I've been in the land of Kangaroos for more than a few days now, but there's been sooooooo much to see and do, its taken me a few days to put together my new Video for the Blog! But as promised, even if it is a tad overdue, Episode One from my trip across the globe . . . Enjoy!
I love the bit when Lucy tries running up the hill, funny stuff! I've shot plenty of other random and neat stuff, with a few pictures as well so do keep checking back for more great action!
In other NathanielBenjamin.com news:- My dad still hasn't found me the Suski I want, he now only has 6 days until my home coming!
My mum is back from her trip to Madeira, she promised to bring me back some cake! Do they even sell Madeira cake in Madeira and if she did succeed how the hell did she get it through customs??
Kangaroo burgers are on the menu here in Ozzie I'm asking people, do they have Kangaroo farms like they do beef farms for cows??? How wrong would that be??
I've decided I want a giant Manga canvas in my room, but its proving to be 'Actual' impossible to find on I like . . . Anywhere! Even Ebay has let me down this time :-(
I think I may ask Daniel (off of Lucy's friend Franny!) to draw me one free hand, how ace would that be? That kid is pretty talented you know, you should see what he can do with a Bionical's set!!!
And finally someone please tell me a great way to get a free upgrade on Singapore Airlines???
Live long and prosper xoxo

Meanwhile in Brisbane!
I've been here three days now and so far we've seen plenty a Kangaroo, Koala and even parrots, most of which have been in the back garden.
Today our tour guides have taken us into Brisbane city where only yesterday we witnessed one of the most spectacular fireworks shows on earth including F111 fighter planes and sky scrappers. Today's journey included powering down the Cat River at 90 mph on one of the cities many public boat taxi's. (Many I want one of those babies!)
Travelling under the Brisbane golden gate (Just like Sydney's but smaller) was flipp'in ace.
Anyway culture and history aside, like any other country Australia has its fair share of "Wired and Wonderful" things. For example, in one of Brisbane's trendy street bars the men's urinal is made from 5, two way mirrors, allowing gents to pee at unsuspecting passers by. How awesome is that, beat that Weatherspoons???
Also in we managed to spot Micheal Jackson on our tour boat, proof that he isn't actually dead!! See for yourself!!!
Now don't tell me that's not him???
Keen fan's of the NathanielBenjamin.com Video Blog, never fear I am going camera mad ATM but time is everything peeps. Trust me you won't be disappointed, I just ask a wee bit of patients on your side of the bargin. I'm having sooooooo much fun down under that there's just not enought time for editing . . . Lame!
Right you'll must dash, someones fired up yet another BBQ so chow time Ahoi!!!
Check back soon . . . Love xoxo

2, Its A Magic Number!
In as little as two days I'll be currently sat on the Airbus A380, being tucked into bed by a lovely member on Singapore Airlines staff. With a choice on 500+ films on demand and unlimited drinks, I think the journey is going to be the most exciting part!!
Ha Ha I feel I may live to regret those words lol . . .
I've finally packed, complete with paperwork and my brand new Digit 2's today. Travel money was a bargain thanks to The Post Office and my camera is fully charged and ready to go! My friend in Oz has reassured me that they have Crunchy nut down under, so what could be better???
Although on a lower note, I've just watched Channel 4's 102 minutes that changed America! Damn that was harsh. I feel empty after watching that program. 8 Years on and it still sent chills down my spine. God Bless America!
Night All x x
