I mean I thought it would be rather cool to work for Radio 1, you know fly off all round the world doing your crazy arsed shows and playing pretty much what music you want whilst meeting all the celebs. But THIS, its a step to far.

Awwwww I went shopping on Monday with Lucy off of the pastry and I got to try on some snowboard kit in one of the sports shops. The new winter season is slowly cropping its head up amongst the market. Regrettably I didn't buy anything snow orientated as it was slightly out of my price range. Remember what granny says . . .

The Xfactor was rather predictable this week, with a double installment of the lovely Cheryl Cole. The categories matched the judges down to a T.
Which reminds me, why doesn't Danny just give up? Lets face it its all about Simon's baby, Mrs Cole now isn't it. Thanks to my amazing Sky+, I actually fast fore wade all the Danny parts . . . Is that bad? I did also discover this week that Britney Spear's amazing come back album will be out for Christmas and guess what??? Conveniently she will be preforming on the Xfactor to promote her new song, which sounds just like Pieces of me . . . Hmmm good work there Britney!

Worked sucked AGAIN today. The boss found out that I'm leaving, before I had chance to tell him where and when. Some domestic abuse in the car park one night has resulted in everybody walking on broken glass and watching what they say to who. I also can't help think that all the chefs and most of the bar staff have seriously lost the will at the moment. That makes my life 100 times harder . . . . Thanks everyone, cheer up it could be worse!!! You could have your baby puppy ran over by your boyfriend whilst in your brand new car . . . SPLAT!!!

Wow so how bloody cold was it this morning? Not only is it the middle of September but the sky's are crystal clear at the moment. Well they are at 5:30am!! I think people keep forgetting that its not July anymore, bless them all still hanging on for some form of Summer to show up.
Another top instalment of Fonejacker tonight on E4, closely followed by our favourite Rick and Steve. I'm really not sure how the writers get away with some of the AIDS jokes in that show, but I couldn't help but laugh . . . Is that wrong?

I have to go to the dentist on Monday morning to have a tooth pulled, I can tell you all now, I'm not looking fore wade to that pleasantry!! Plenty of morphine for me please. I want to get so dizzy on that stuff that they can just do whatever it is the lovely dentist lady is going to do and then just wheel me out and leave me in the waiting room until I come round!
I'm thinking maybe a good lot of Ibro before I get there. What a fun day off that should turn out to be!

So exploding wheel chairs . . . today has been a triumphant day for exploding stuff! First the dishwasher at work made an impressive bang, which scared the pretty red and black stripped off my pants and then I came home and read that an electric wheel chair nearly exploded an 747 at Manchester airport. That would of been an amazing episode of Air Crash Investigation!!

Today in the great age of 2008 in the mist of the 'Credit Crunch' and 'Global Warming', people all over the world come straight home and spend hours upon hours in front of their 52 inch TV, which they've bought from Ocean Fiance at 69%apr, shouting abuse at random Americans or Asian people on the other side of the world!

After having a quick nap when I got home from work this afternoon, I proceed to make dinner. Unfortunately Mum had come home early and insisted on watching BBC Spotlight . . . Dear God, what a pile of armature BS that program is. I personally think the piles of crap my cat leaves on the carpet some mornings has more personality than some of the presenters.
Tonight's main story was that a lady's rent had gone up from £400 to £550 within a year, barring in mine her house was owned by the National Trust bright on the waterfront near Falmouth . . . . That's Fucking cheap love get over it yeah!!
And to think our TV licence payed for that story . . . . Uhhhhhhh!

Last night was my boss's birthday drinks at the delights of St Austell's Weitherspoon's and to be honest alot of people were there. Whilst in the toilets wiping my sorry nose, (story for another time) I got chatting to a guy in the toilet about my blog . . . . Hmmm random. At least I know that someone reads this dribble!!
My delightful 'Step sister in waiting' was on the piss last night, regrettably in the same post code as me and friends, and my God didn't she make a fool of herself.
When is the point that someone should say?

Also I watched Camp Rock on Friday night, it wasn't as good as High School Musical, but it was equally as amazing. Another classic from the Disney people. The type of film that makes you all warm and fuzzy inside. Even if it is utter tripe!

If you've ever met my gran this is a scary concept!!!!! The funniest memory I have of my gran, who is 84 this year, is when she dressed up as the queen to official open the extension we had built to our old house. I'm not just taking a gown, no no, I mean full on everything.

The best part of it was I think she really thought she was the queen, even though it was just my parents and myself at this so called grand opening.

Mentalness . . . . Hmmmm I had a strange upbringing, just suppress it Nath!!!!

. . . . The phone has just rang and I've been summoned to the pub, it is Sunday after all.

Attacked!!

. . . . by the Underpants Gnomes in my bedroom!
I woke this morning to find that some how during my sleeping fiasco, I'd cut myself just under my nose and there was blood . . . everywhere!
My conclusion, as I don't wear any rings or a watch that the Underpants Gnomes which live under my wardrobe from previous blog entry's had finally taken their revenge on me. Slightly harsh I'm thinking!!

So just a quick entry today as I still have my super lame tooth ache and I'm on my split shift. Lots to do never enough time!
Has anyone noticed its almost impossible to buy singular stamps now without making a journey to the local post office. If you still have one? Tesco this morning and I have a a single letter to post. No one normally sends letters anymore so I don't want a whole book of six I just want one . . . . Nope no chance! That's what the actual real life cashier said to me! "No chance"

Hello everybody how are we all today?? My over sleep drive has finally kicked in!!
When I got home from a rather boring day at work, I quickly flipped up Facebook and to my horror discovered that they've finally done it. The permanent switch over to the New Look Facebook! Whhhhyyyyyy? Now I'm equally as confused as when I converted from Myspace . . . What the hell is going on?, I can't read this?, How do I do this? . . . . Ahhhhhh!
Oh well you know the Cornish . . . Errr don't like change!!

Owwww my tooth stopped hurting, magic! That's the ibro kicking in.
I can't wait for winter to start now, two months and counting. The days just seam to drag out now. Isn't it funny that when you have a crap day at work you always think the grass is green, but I guarantee when I go away two months in I'll be writing my blog and I'll be saying . . . Ahhh can't wait to come back home . . . How lame am I???
No it'll be a good laugh, a nice refreshing break AND I'm taking friends out with me this year. One which will actually stick out the whole season this time. . . . I hope!
Although I must say I do miss Christmas at the bay, I think that'll be the hardest thing to give up this year. No Mr B dressed as Santa and all the Chef's getting drunk whilst serving the evening buffet . . . good times!

Hibernation And Such . . .

Hello to you . . .

So I've had around 16 hours sleep and I think I'm good for the rest of the day. There's still sleep in the corner of my eye and everything!

After participating in Fay off of the hotel's birthday at Puls 8 I continued on to a house party at a friends house in Polgooth, which continued until 5am. I then had a mer 45 minutes sleep and dragged my ass into work! So when I finished at 3pm my fait was pretty much sealed . . . bed!

Ummmm so there you go a running commentary of my last 24 hours . . . moving onwards!

The weather is bloody annoying at the moment, first its beautiful sunshine (normally whilst I'm working) then its misty, then its pissing down and finally finishing with clear starry night Sky's! How rude!

Whilst out on Saturday night I must say how appalled I was over the amount of Ambulance and Police presence need outside of our lame-ass, tacky nightclub. I mean really people of St Austell can you not go 3 hours without fighting or injuring one another. Maybe our council taxes wouldn't be so fucking high if we had the decency to walk away from a punch up over something as pathetic as "you've got my coat" or "what you look'in at" . . . For fuck sake people!!!

Also I rather bored today, the great garage project is on hold whilst we wait for the MOT to pass, so it seems I have a lacking of stuff to do. Well exciting stuff, you know? There's always the boring stuff like the dishes and cleaning but thats no fun!

The phone line died at Clifden Rd as well this week, which means no Internet . . . damn you BT!

When you call them up it "oh okay we'll send an engineer out, how about 6 months from now?" Haaaaaaaa you fucking what??? Oh but I suppose you want the line-rental still though don't you? God this country is lazy!

Can you tell I might still be a little cranky from just waking up???

The good news today is that I have alot of Tv to catch up on, the house to myself and the possibly of staying up until the wee-early hours of the morning getting up to mischief! He He Yahhhh! X-factor, Air Crash Investigation, Hairspray the School Musical and Harry and Paul are all lined up on the Sky+ box, ready for me to spack out to!

Roll On Winter!!!

Uhhhhhhh I can't wait for winter to start already.
I quite frankly have had enough of this country, the people who live here and everything else which goes with it. Okay maybe I'm being slightly melodramatic, but I'm sure you get the drift. Rubbish day???? Ha yes you said it!
Dear Mr Brend (Any of you) we need to replace the majority of the restaurant staff AND completely change the way we do some of the most basic standard operating procedures we run on a daily basis!!! Or before we know it we'll be living off of coach trips based on grannies who can't control their bladders. . . . Just like the Cliffhead!

So it occurred to me today that we always get free local council car parking on a Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. After a few moments of digression, I realised why! It had only just came to me, after driving for the best part of 4 years now, that the council employees don't work on these days. Uhhhhhh what a cope out is that! I think they should have flexi shift. Work on Sunday's and have a Tuesday off instead, then we can all have free parking on a Tuesday. A much more useful day to be free of paying an extortionate price a hour for non clamp'inness!

Did you get your tax refund today???? I know I did!!! Thank you Mr Brown and friends £60 whole actual pounds are all mine to put straight into my Snowy day fund! Yaaaayyyyyhhhhh for me!

This time Vin Diesel is back with the other guy from the first film, for one more final film. It does actually look rather good, but I'm afraid its not out until next year . . . lame!!


I think film makers may of run out of stuff to do. This year seams to of consisted of remakes and sequels. Some better than others!

My Lunch Box, and Tax Rehbates For All

I'm all worded out today I'm afraid!!
Maybe its because I've been on breakfast, maybe I've finally decided to shut the hell up and let everyone get on with their lives . . . HA FAT CHANCE!!!

I thought I'd take my amazing lunch box to work today! Its was only £2.50 in ASDA. Its metal, with a white and pink handle and its covered in High School Musical magicialness!!! I decided I was going to have a bit of healthy week this week, so i packed up my Oatibix and Alpro strawberry yogurt for work this morning and skipped on in!
I must say everybody thought it was rather cool, unless they were just humoring me??
Also today at work many of my fellow colleges and I participated in ripping the piss out of the boos, who I think deep down enjoined the completion.
To cut a long story short it was all to do with middle names . . . and how random some peoples names are. Double barrelled, old skool, articulate names, there's loads out there!!

Also today, I was informed that we ALL, (well all tax payers) are going to be getting a refund this week of anything up to £60 in our pay packets. Whooopie! I wasn't sure about it but when my dad got his and the my step mum . . . I was convinced!

Wow so work was pretty cool yesterday. It was one of those shifts which happens every other blue moon. It was busy so the day just flew by, but not that to busy its a stitch up type of busy. No no the kind of "Ha I'm really good at my job" kind of busy.
To top it off the walk in freezer blew up as well, which means we now have a refrigerated van hooked up outside . . . Its rather funny I thought!
New knifes and a new chefs hat, everything good, for now anyway!

Saturday night I think is going to be a big night out in the delights of St Austell. Its Faye off of the bar's 21st birthday which should be a good laugh, lots of people are going out, even though it is pulse 8!!!!

I'm off on Sunday (Again) this week, any ideas on what I should get up too??? I actually don't have anything planned??

Hello to you, you and yes you! Straight into it today then . . .

In between waiting for the kettle to boil, so I could eat my Ainsley Harriet couscous, and watching Air crash Investigation this afternoon I happened to glance out the lounge window. Something took my eye, which to be honest, I rather liked! As I was at my dad's house the view casts across the road with the fish and chip shop digressing in the way of anything else, half decent to look at. Normally if you peek out the window you either get the unsightly view of a hobo or some varicose veins granny staring back at you from the pavement. If not it'll be the collective gang of chav's from the council estate behind our road. BUT . . . this time the hottest, and I mean hottest (In my opinionated mind) girl was standing at the garden gate. So trying not to stare to much I have to admit I was impressed.

Anyways before I creep you out with the typical male goings on, instead of carrying on down the street, she walked up the path and knocked on the door. Kat'ching I thought!

It turns out that the half Ferne Cotton, half Nikki from Big Brother looking cutie who I think was about 19 wanted someone called Emma. Yeah sorri love she doesn't live here anymore, but after flirting with her for a couple of minutes and her blatantly going along with it, she trundled off down the path shaking her behind, turned around and smiled at me.

Cool ahy, but wait did I let her get away?

Fuck no, casually I walked back down the path and told her she'd forgotten something, My number! Smooth right? She laughed, but wrote it in her phone! Get it!!!!

So anyways I'll keep you posted on that matter. . .

Fewww anyways, before all this happened I was in the garage putting the final touches to the Fiesta, which is now ready for its MOT. So that means in about a week it'll be for sale.

My car is actually rather clean and shinny as well, which is always good. Even though yesterday on my secret mission to Gorran, It got covered in Cow crap. Although I can't actually prove it was cow crap if there are any cows that have been inspired by the Claims Direct advert listening!

In other Nathan news Kev's friend Amy wants to go dogging with us! I'm slightly shocked actually. Mainly because I apparently fall under the dogging stereotype and partly that shes only 16! What the fuck is that about??? Answers on a postcard pretty please!

And finally I went to the delights of the Cliff Head Hotel for lunch today, quite simply . . . . What a waste of £15 that was! Ewwwww is the only way to describe it. Ha I'd make an amazing food critic wouldn't I??

Yeah sorri about that people, I haven't had time to post for a couple of days, I'm well rubbish!
Cars, work and poker kind of took over the last couple of days and it was bloody impossible to get near a computer!

Any way enough of the excuses, on with the blog!

Wow I've done some serious legal music downloading these last couple of days! There seams to be loads of amazing albums and songs out this week. Maybe its because everybody needs cheering up? No summer, we're basically being told our homes are going to be worthless due to the credit crunch and to top it all off a mega fucking great storm is going to wash us all away.
Fantastic . . . But in lighter news Disney have released their new Disney Channel Only Film, . . . Its basically High School Musical, But Not! Its called Camp Rock and it stars them there Jonas Brothers, which premiers on Friday 19th September on Sky channel 609.

I personally can't bloody wait . . .







And speaking of the Jo Bro's, do we like them???? I know there 199% manufactured by Disney for the average age of about a 9 year old girl, BUT their album is pretty good, even if it is cheesier than a certain Kp's private parts. . . . They're in with Scott Mills on Wednesday this week on BBC Radio 1.

Facebook is doing the super big switch over soon. From classic "I can understand this" version to "What the hell is going on" version.
Why do they do this??? First Myspace.com did it, and quite honestly I confused the pants off me and I digressed to Facebook. Now its happening all over again! Where is there to run this time??

I had Christmas pudding for dinner tonight, Hmmmmm different.
It was nice though!

So wow, poker is a big thing isn't it? I've personally never seen the amazing fascination behind it all, but tom morrow night I'm off to a poker night. You can get tables and everything, somewhere someone is very rich! Whilst flicking through the Sky box yesterday I discovered we had the Poker 365 channel, whats that all about?
I mean seriously who watches that channel??, Well wish me luck anyways.

At work this morning whilst lighting the ovens, one of our amazing Kp's asked me a question. Except instead of the traditional
"What do you think Nathan?" I was shocked, dazed and confused when he finished his sentance with . . . .

In other Nathaniel Benjamin news today, I felt the compelling need to get some duck feeding action on the go. No that's not some kind of perverted thing you might do in a car park at Asda on a warm summer evening. I mean literally feed the ducks at Par duck ponds.

But then again we can;t really complain, compared to the people in America, bring on the wellies boi's and girls. Its like their very own Boscastle!

Good news everyone, I think I've found the Underpants Gnomes off of my bedroom, although they still haven't given back my missing belt and jeans. In fact its proving impossible to get a word out of them.

My plan to rectify the utter injustice of Sunday nights being lame, is coming on nicely. After I started my Facebook campaign last night, I currently have 7 members who are up for it. Watch this space everyone, I'll keep you posted.

Fish finger sandwicthes, whats that all about?
I had to make three today for some people at work. Fish fingers, cheese and mayo . . . Wrong!
Oh and then there's the all egg white scrambled egg and someone even gave me two pots of breast milk to store, ewwwwww!

. . . . Also on the DL, I'm currently getting together my winter shopping list! Wow there's alto this year. Or maybe I'm just being greedy. Can I really get all the stuff on my list plus the essential in my luggage without being over 19Kg?? Hmmmm maybe if I fly British airways and not Ryanair!
