Snowage . . .

The snow continues to fall here in the Alps and it’s bloody amazing. But there is one downside to lots of fresh powder.
Shovelling the freaking drive ways and balconies.
Seriously I think I have moved around 3 tonnes of snow today. The terrace at the Aalborg was one thing, but clearing the whole drive of the chalet we’ve just moved into was another. Yeah less of the snow clearing please.
Everybody was feeling slightly mellow today; I think the nonstop binge of alcohol has finally taken its evil and twisted toll on us all. It is funny because the amount of peer pressure is unreal. Not necessarily from the other people who you go out with but the bar owners themselves.
To kind of up keep and insure you get your free round of shots when you go out,
“Ah the Neilson guys” and then before you know it the shot glasses are out, lined up and being filled with some random liquid. You think,
“Oh no, not toffee vodka again!”
Damn you bar men, keeping us all poor and out of pocket. Is it guests time yet? We need the tips!!!

My blog is just spiralling out of control, I’m worried. First my Cousin was reading it, then I discovered that my Uncle reads it, subsequently a few days ago it emerged that my Mum now get her daily dose of Nathaniel Benjamin, but this has to top it. Some of the other guys have been reading over summer time, secretly noting it all down and remembering it, which is cool, but now the word is out in resort,
“Nath, someone said you’re a really good writer?”
“Ummmm, who told you that?”
“Heidi said, I’ve read your blog and it is well amazing”
As if, now the pressure is really on and people are coming out, at random times, with quotes like, “Ha ha can I be on your blog?”
Or
“Bet this will be on your blog later Nath?”
It is really strange, I never realised I was so popular, ha yeah right, enjoy the lime light Nath.

Fraiser and Scotch are sat in front of me talking about various different jumps and tricks on their snowboards.
I’m so lost, front side, pop, heel clip, backward hit . . . What the heck??? I’m such an amateur it is rather funny.
Oh well roll on the season, let’s have you . . . . .
